This is applicable to the parents as well, few of which have a tendency to interfere in the team’s affairs. Control it in time and notify everyone about it. Take charge of the team by making all important decisions. That said, parents involvement to a certain degree is absolutely essential.
Be a leader: Whatever you do is likely to be imitated by your players because a coach is always looked upon as a mentor. So keep your conduct in check. Your behavior should be pleasant and respectful towards the players, colleagues, and opposite teams as well. Reach the ground for the practice sessions in advance or before the players. Never criticize the referee or the players when in a practice match.
