After 6 months of getting lost in the woods, one camper was rescued by rescue workers and policemen and firemen after they found him half dead from starvation and dehydration. He went camping with his friends 6 months ago and he got waylaid from the gang. He survived and he is so lucky. Have it not been for the wilderness survival skills he learned before they went out camping, he could have been found dead floating in a river or in the mouth of a hungry bear, in pieces.

It is just absolutely right for anybody to teach himself how to stay alive in the wilderness. You can get lost among these mesmerizing sight of tall trees, the clear blue sky and the clear white water crystal. There are by now many unpleasant incidents of individuals getting lost in the woods, in the hills and some of them were never found. It’s always highly recommended by proper authorities that if ever you want to go hiking or camping in them woods, you need to train yourself first some survival skills training or if not, you can hire somebody to be your guide who knows the place like it was the back of his hand.

But hiring someone who is an expert to be the “tour guide” can also be expensive, that is, if ever you can find someone. Sometimes, other people can be too busy doing their own personal obligations and responsibilities that are eating their time and you can’t do something about. That’s why, if ever you want something done, you have to do it by yourself. Now, the query is, if ever you want to go out and spend some time with friends in the forest, where can you find a book guide that can teach you some wilderness survival proficiency? Is there a wilderness survival guide that you can find especially here on the Internet? You see, that guy who survived his 6-months ordeal in the woods found a guide on the Super Information Highway and that’s what made him live a little longer to tell his tale wherever he goes.
